Global Category Buyer IT

This Dutch company is your number one favourite beverage producer in Europe and the number three by volume in the world. They have a unique, worldwide footprint with operations in over 70 countries and a team of over 85.000 employees. They are continuing to increase their presence within the emerging markets. The company is focused on six business priorities which help them to achieve sustainable growth in all markets and to create value out of their heritage, global scale, people and their brands.

The procurement department has a strong position within the company. You will be reporting to the Global Category Leader Technology/ICT.

Responsibilities: 

• To manage the opportunity assessment process for the assigned subcategories;
• To develop and implement the category procurement sourcing strategies for the assigned categories;
• To support the category leader with the development and implementation of the overall ICT category strategy;
• To secure optimum results through the tender-, negotiation and supplier selection process for the subcategories, as well as initiating and leading contract negotiations for new or expiring global and central agreements.
• To develop, maintain and leverage relationships with assigned suppliers and key internal stakeholders in the OpCo and Group functions;
• To comply with reporting rules and procedures regarding benefits tracking, projects and contract lifestyle management tools.

Profile:

• A Bachelor of Master degree, for example in Business, Financial, IT, commercial, economical, legal of social disciplines;
• A minimum of 5 years working environment in Procurement and/or IT;
• Experience in one or more of the ICT subcategories like Telecom, Hardware, Software, IT consultancy and outsourced IT services;
• Full verbal and written English, other languages are preferred.

Benefits:

• Depending on your experience and training, a maximum salary of €120K.
