Procurement Analyst

Accell has grown rapidly both organically and by acquisitions. Accell’s business is segmented in Bicycles (OEM) and Parts & Accessories (P&A), each with its own dynamics. The group strategy focus is on the high end and premium bicycle market. Accell differentiates itself from the competitions through innovations that require tailored components with relative low volumes. Coordination and working together with suppliers in the development process and supply chain is critical. Accell Group is now moving towards a centre-led supply chain organisation model. The aim is to significantly improve profitability and working capital reduction.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of spend management tooling including procurement taxonomy definition, systems impact analysis and solution implementation;
• Support the Procurement Director, Category Managers and Category Buyers with crucial analysis to identify and drive category savings;
• Monitor, audit and analyse external supplier performances and internal and external compliance;
• Analyse and suggest process optimizations and carry out benchmarking exercises;
• Act as an interface between the Procurement organization and financial functions;
• Provide input into procurement data structures to enable spend reporting and supplier performance;
• The Procurement Analyst is part of the Accell Group Supply Chain team. This team is responsible for translating the Supply Chain strategic targets into tangible result by initiating specified projects and seeing these though to delivery.

Profile

• Academic level of education;
• Experience with data management, preferably procurement related;
• The ability to persuade internal stakeholders on the analysis or the use of information, reports and tools;
• Capable of initiating and monitoring projects with limited supervision;
• Experience in defining, developing and implementing procurement processes, preferably within a matrix company with multiple stakeholders;
• Fluency of business level English and other languages such as Dutch, French and German.
